From epic expeditions to weekend escapes, they put Vango kit through its paces in real-world conditions and share their experiences along the way.

Mark Beaumont

Mark Beaumont has built a career around world-firsts and record-breaking endurance challenges, travelling to over 130 countries, producing documentaries, and publishing 6 books. He is best known for cycling around the world twice, including his 18,000-mile record in 78 days and 14 hours. Beyond cycling, Mark’s expeditions have taken him to the high Arctic, into the mountains, and across oceans, including surviving a capsize in the mid-Atlantic. He was awarded a British Empire Medal for services to sport and charity.
Mark has used Vango tents since childhood and continues to rely on them for expeditions and family adventures.

Lorna Bray

Lorna Bray is a Scottish outdoor adventurer and content creator, rooted in Scotland and fuelled by wild places. Based in the Highlands, she builds her life around hiking, camping and long days in the mountains; often stepping straight from her front door onto trails and mountains.
Lorna undertakes her global expeditions with her husband and they share family adventures closer to home with their daughter. She is the founder and host of the Adventure Unfiltered podcast, guided by the belief that 'in the wild we remember who we are'. As a Vango Ambassador, Lorna relies on a tough, dependable kit that's built for relentless Scottish conditions and trusted far beyond them.

Terry Abraham
Terry Abraham is a filmmaker, writer, and outdoor storyteller known for his work across the UK’s wild places. His projects span mountain film-making, national conservation campaigns, and responsible access to the outdoors. In recent years, he has focused on wildlife conservation, including work with red squirrels, and collaborations with organisations such as National Parks, the National Trust, and the British Mountaineering Council.
Alongside his film work, Terry has launched a growing YouTube channel and continues to share stories that inspire people to explore the outdoors responsibly and connect with nature.

Tim Bradshaw

Tim Bradshaw is a former covert intelligence officer with an exceptional record of achievement. He has climbed Everest and the Matterhorn, completed an Ironman, cycled a Tour de France mountain stage and ridden the Cresta Run, among other challenges. As a Vango ambassador, he relies on dependable kit that performs in real-world situations during his adventures.
Alongside this, Tim is a keynote speaker specialising in leadership decision-making under pressure. He also delivers crisis management, event support and first aid courses, helping people and organisations perform efficiently.

Chris and Julie Ramsey - Plug in Adventure

Chris and Julie Ramsey are pioneering electric vehicle adventurers who founded Plug In Adventure, best known for their Pole to Pole EV Expedition. They completed a record-breaking journey from the North Pole to the South Pole, crossing 14 countries and 3 continents and travelled 29,000 kilometres. This historic achievement became the first vehicle journey of its kind and earned them two Guinness World Records. Whilst on their adventures they used a Vango tent to shelter their electric car in Antarctica.
They continue to trust Vango tents and equipment on their adventures, including their upcoming Himalayan adventure.

Thom Axon - Off The Beaten Pot
Thom is an outdoor cook, founder of Off the Beaten Pot and author of ‘Recipes for Rogues: A Cookbook for the Great Outdoors. Known for bringing humour and creativity to campfire cooking, he has built a reputation for making great food in the outdoors.
From roasting Sunday dinner on a Trangia to crafting lasagne in a mess tin, Thom turns wild cooking into something simple and enjoyable, inspiring outdoor enthusiasts to cook proper, flavourful meals outside rather than rely on packet food.

Stevie Boyle
Stevie Boyle is an adventure and environmental educator with a lifetime spent in the outdoors. From mountaineering and rock climbing to surfing and paddleboarding, his experience spans wild places across the globe. Through his company Ocean Vertical, he blends guiding with informal education, sharing authentic journeys that build confidence, resilience, and a connection to nature.
As a Vango ambassador, Stevie focuses on simple, dependable kit that performs in real conditions. He now enjoys introducing his young family to adventure across Scotland’s mountains and coastline, while encouraging others to get outside together.

Darren and Paula Glover - Pitch it Camping Club

Meet Darren and Paula, passionate campers known for their luxurious camping setups, always accompanied by their two dogs, Dexter and Daisy. With over 20 years of camping experience, they’re well-known in the camping community and share numerous camping tips and guides, especially helping families new to camping.
From their first iconic Vango Equinox on 90s motorbike adventures to owning more than 20 tents over the years, their passion for camping extends to running a popular Facebook group and hosting an annual Vango rally, bringing families together for outdoor fun and adventure.

Laura Earl is a mum of four with a love for all things outdoors. In 2024, she was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour, and following surgery was left with severe mobility issues. Laura founded The Hiking Household in 2020 to help families access the outdoors and continues to share her journey with the same goal in mind.
Laura is passionate about inspiring people of all abilities to get outside, making hiking, camping and outdoor adventure more accessible for everyone, regardless of disability.

I’ve always loved getting outdoors, and before having children we enjoyed many adventures across the UK in our campervan. Now, with my two-year-old, we’re excited to rediscover camping and this time embracing tent life together! I’m passionate about giving her a childhood rooted in nature, slowing down, and appreciating the world around us. In my day job as an NHS midwife, life can be very fast paced, which makes prioritising time outdoors even more important for our family.
I’m so proud to be a Vango Ambassador, representing a brand that creates fantastic-quality kit built to last through years of family adventures and memories to come.

Karla and Stephen love nothing more than heading off on adventures in their wheelchair-accessible caravan. They are passionate about inclusivity in the outdoor world and believe there should be no barriers to getting outside.
Using their adapted caravan, they share accessible travel tips across the UK and Europe, along with destination and product reviews. They provide practical advice and inspiration for others planning their next trip. Through their website and social media platforms, they aim to encourage others to head out on their own adventures - because where there are wheels, there’s a way.

Being a Vango Ambassador is about sharing authentic experiences, inspiring others to embrace the outdoors, and helping us showcase how Vango products perform in the places they were designed for. In return, ambassadors may receive support with equipment, gain early access to selected products, and become part of a community that lives and breathes adventure.
