Shelterbox
International charity, Shelterbox provide emergency relief to those who have suffered at the hands of natural disaster. To date, around 60 million people across the world have been made homeless by either conflict or natural disasters. Vango are immensely proud to have formed a partnership with Shelterbox and are working with them to change this figure.
We work closely with Shelterbox to continually develop the essential equipment that is offered and help provide training to those who volunteer as part of the Shelterbox Response Teams, who are frequently amongst the first relief respondents in a disaster zone.
At the heart of every Shelterbox is a family tent, custom made by Vango, that is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, high winds and heavy rainfall. This, along with all other items in a Shelterbox, can transform despair into hope and help those affected envisage a future.

Currently, Shelterbox are focussing on providing help to those fleeing the battle for Mosul in Iraq, where many are left to fend for themselves in the harsh conditions of the desert. As well as Mosul, they are providing continual support for the Syrian refugees who are facing multiple disasters every day.
