Our Partnership Initivatives

Vango partners with organisations who we believe can make a difference to the world around us, from Trees For Life, helping to replant the Scottish Highlands, to Shelterbox, the international disaster relief chariy, delivering shelter to those effected by disasters worldwide.

The National Trust

The world around us is beautiful and we’re proud to be continually doing all we can to preserve it, to enable us all to enjoy the outdoors, whilst being kind to the environment.

The collaboration between Vango and the National Trust celebrates a shared passion for the great outdoors. As Europe’s largest conservation charity, the National Trust looks after more than 250,000 hectares of countryside, 780 miles of coastline and 500 historic houses, parks and gardens, so that people and nature can thrive.

Through the sales of the National Trust camping collection, Vango will contribute a minimum of £20,000 to the National Trust to help look after nature, beauty and history in England, Wales and Northern Ireland for everyone, for ever.

Trees For Life

Trees for Life

Our world is beautiful and we're proud to be continually doing all we can to preserve it, so we can all enjoy it now and in the future.  Estabished over 50 years ago at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, we've strived to push ourselves, and our kit to the limits on this spectacular landscape.  To help maintain this incredible environment that we are proud to call home, we have partnered with the Scottish conservation chairity, Trees for Life.

Trees for Life is a multi-award winning conservation charity that have worked for over 25 years with thousands of volunteers to rescue the Caledonian Forest and the wildlife that calls it home.  The chairuty have planted nearly two million trees towards their long-term vision to save a habitat of global importance.

We are thrilled to partner with such an ambitious and powerful charity, and will do all that we can to help them achieve their goals and to keep our landscape beautiful.

Loch Lomond and The Trossochs National Park

Vango is working with Loch Lomond and the Trossochs National Park Authority to promote sustainable camping and supporting people from all backgrounds to be able to enjoy camping in the National Park.

With some of the UK's most stunning scenery, including two National Nature Reserves - Loch Lomond and the Trossachs' 720 mile National Park encompasses grand mountains, ancient forests, breath-taking glens, unique sites and spectacular lochs.

Camping is one of the most popular ways to enjoy the National Park and with more than 50% of Scotland's population living within an hour's drive, it provides fantastic opportunities for everyone to get out and try camping whether it's wild camping for the first time or visiting a campsite with family and friends.

Whichever way people choose to camp, Vango will work with the National Park Authority to further promote responsible ways to camp, preserving it for generations to come.

International charity, ShelterBox provide emergency relief to those who have suffered at the hands of natural disaster.  To date, around 60 million people across the world have been made homeless by either conflict or natural disasters.  Vango are immensely proud to work with Shelterbox to change this figure.

We work closely with ShelterBox to continually develop develop the essential equipment that is offered and help provide training to those who volunteer as part of the Shelterbox response teams, who are frequently amongst the first relief respondents in a disaster zone.

At the heart of every ShelterBox is a family tent, custom made by Vango, that is designed to withstand extreme temperatures, high winds and heacy rainfall.  This along with other items in a Shelterbox, can transform despair into hope and help those affected envisage a future.

As a founding member of this European coalition, we’re proud to support getting people active in the outdoors and conservation efforts through grants from the initiative.  In 2021, our funding will allow for at least 125 days of outdoor activity for people who may not have had the opportunity to participate.
