Take Part in the Virtual DofE Adventures to Raise Crucial Funds for DofE
Calling all walkers! We’re inviting you to take part in our Virtual DofE Adventure by walking in your local area in September. You’ll be joining others across the nation as we aim to walk the collective distance of the UK coastline to raise crucial funds for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
We know that DofE gives young people structure, focus and purpose, that is vital for mental and physical wellbeing. The funds we raise through Virtual DofE Adventure will help us reach even more young people like Catherine, whose participation in DofE enabled her to get the space she needed after her mum was rediagnosed with cancer.
We’re asking our Virtual Adventurers to walk 30km over a day, a week, a month, or even a few hours – over whatever timescale feels a challenge and raise £100 to help the future of the next generation.
You could enjoy a daily stroll around your local park or embark on a serious hike in a national park. You can do this as an individual or as a team and if walking isn’t your thing, you could run, cycle or even row the distance – whichever way of travelling suits you best.
We want every young person in the UK to get the benefit of a DofE programme for their mental and physical health, to increase their job prospects and to help them play an active role in restoring their communities after the effects of COVID-19.
Join us on this Adventure and support young people every step of the way.
