Guardian Camping Package Competition - May 2018

  1. This draw is not open to employees of AMG Group Ltd.
  2. All entrants and winners must be residents of United Kingdom and be aged 16 or over.
  3. No purchase is necessary. Entry to the promotion is free.
  4. The prizes; the prize haul consist of 1 prize in which includes; a Longleat 800XL tent with carpet and footprint, 4 x Ember Sleeping Bags and 2 x Microlite Chairs. The competition runs from the 24th 2018 May until the 1st June 2018.
  5. The prize is correct at the time of going to press, but the promoter reserves the right to alter the prizes if necessary.
  6. To enter participants must fill out the required information on the competition landing page and submit their entry. Entries must be received between the 24th May 2018 and 1st June 2018 . Entries will be monitored by the Vango panel and the winners will be contacted privately as soon as possible after the competition closes on the 1st of June 2018.
  7. We reserve the right to validate each entry and remove any entries that are offensive or deemed inappropriate.

  2. Please note the following terms and conditions relate to the prize draw to ‘Win an outdoor experience holiday to Lake Constance’.
  3. The prize draw is open to residents of the UK & Ireland residents but all travellers must be in possession of a valid British passport or current and valid visa for entering the Federal Republic of Germany, except employees of Vango, German National Tourist Office, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw and competition.

  5. Only fully completed registrations will be eligible.

Vango AirBeam Challenge Terms and Conditions

  1. The 'Entrant' of this competition is the person who uploads the video to YouTube and completes the entry details on vango.co.uk. The 'Entrant' must be over the age of 18 and be resident in the UK. The 'Challenger' is the competition participant who inflates the AirBeams. The 'Challenger' may be under the age of 18, but only if the 'Entrant' is the legal guardian of the 'Challenger'. By entering the Competition, entrants agree to participate in reasonable publicity in the event that they are a winner. This may include use of their name, image and video footage in on-line publicity, in emails, and through any other print or social media.
  2. Each submission of the AirBeam Challenge Rules will be subject to the approval of the promoter. Any breach of the AirBeam Challenge rules or video footage that renders an indecent, obstructive, discriminating or dangerous manner will be automatically disqualified and will not be subjected to a further entry.
  3. The Prize: No cash or other alternative to the stated prize is available except, in the event of unforeseen circumstances, if the stated prize is no longer available. The Promoter reserves the right to provide a similar prize or a prize of equal or greater value. The Prize does not include any cash alternatives.
  4. The Scoring System: To adjust the time for different sized tents the following calculation will be used to generate a balanced score:
  • (Time to inflate / no. of beams) - Style Points = Score
  • e.g. 48.12 seconds / 3 beams = 16.04 Time per Beam
  • 16.04 - 8 Style Points = 8.04  Final Score

 

To encourage the tent to be pitched well there is additional style points for presentation The presentation will determine the number of bonus points awarded from the decision of the promoter. The bonus score will be deducted from the time taken to inflate the tent as part of the challenge. The judge's decision is final.

5. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition without notice in the event that there is any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside AMG Group Ltd's reasonable control. Any changes will be communicated to entrants via the website landing page, social media and an e-newsletter.

6.  The competition runs from the 28th April until 08:59 on the 27th July 2015. This is the deadline for all entries. During the competition live period, it is the entrants responsibility to drive their own individual video likes on YouTube. The number of likes for each video gained after the closing time and date will not be counted or verified.

7. The prize winners will be contacted within 7 working days of the competition closing.
