Senior Product Manager (SPM) & Assistant Product Manager (APM)


AMG group ltd, one of the UK’s most successful companies within the Outdoor Leisure sector, is seeking to appoint SEVERAL HIGH CALIBRE INDIVIDUALS; positions which have arisen due to a restructuring, as a result of the significant growth experienced by the company during the past 3 years.


Location - Port Glasgow, Scotland (Head Office)

Package - A remuneration package that rewards results, inclusive of a Contributory GPPP, Personal Bonus Scheme & Benefits.


Reporting to the Product Director, the SPM will be responsible for the management of:-

  1. Product development, from inception and design through to sampling and delivery, adhering to the critical time paths
  2. Sourcing materials & manufacturers, develop & maintain costing models and manage the development process of our brands
  3. Clear and accurate timelines that meet and provide the crucial link between the team and other key departments, including the training of the Sales Team
  4. Delivering range proposals that reflect market trends and customer/consumer needs
  5. Staff within the department
  6. Supplier visits world-wide, a minimum of 3-4 trips per annum.


Reporting to a Senior Product Manager, the APM will assist with the management of the above functions.


These opportunities will appeal to ambitious, resourceful self-starters, who shall be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Outdoor Leisure Sector and preferably have experience of leading a team (SPM) through a period of sustained growth. Your personal attributes will include:-

  • Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative attitude
  • Superior communication skills
  • IT skills within Excel, Word, & PowerPoint applications.
