Vango Airbeam®:
These tents use inflatable AirBeams® in place of traditional poles for rapid pitching in any environment.

Carbon X-Lite Poles:
PowerFlex® Fibreglass:
Vango only uses the highest possible grade of fibreglass for our poles. Used in various lengths and diameters which are specifically selected to suit the design of the tent. The steel ferrules and tips are finished to give smooth and snag-free travel through pole sleeves and eyelets. All sections are ‘shock-corded’ together for ease of pitching.
Powerplus Steel 22mm:
Steel poles are used to give maximum strength and stability in many of our tunnel tents.
Fire Retardant CPAI-84 Standard:
Tents that are described as ‘Fire Retardant’ have their flysheet and inner tent fabrics treated to prevent the fabric for continuing to burn after a flame or similar is placed against the fabric & then removed (in accordance to CPAI-84). It should be noted that these tents are not fireproof and that they will burn if an ignition source is placed adjacent to the fabric.
ProTex® TC Cotton:
A premium PU coated polyester fabric which is coated to a number of different levels of waterproofness dependent on the type of tent it is to be used on. Polyester fabrics, if compared to similar nylons, have greater elasticity and hence are less prone to ripping if you trip on a guyline or pegging point. In addition because polyester absorbs less water than nylon, the tent will sag less when it gets wet.
Supplied with Pump:
Sewn-In Groundsheet:
Adds to the comfort of your tent by providing a bug and draught free environment. The groundsheet is attached to the flysheet with an external storm skirt to provide all round protection.
TAS:
Tied Arch System (TAS) - A patented system which makes pitching easier and increases living space.
Flexlite Poles:
Flexlite poles have been hard anodized and heat treated to give them extra strength.
TBS® II Tension Band System:
A VERSATILE version of the tried and trusted TBS® – Tension Band System, combining the webbing of TBS® with the external guying system of the tent.
TBS® III Tension Band System:
TBS® Pro Tension Band System:
A lightweight version of the tried and trusted TBS® – Tension Band System, utilising a 'cord' system instead of the webbing as used on TBS®.
PowerLite® Alloy 7001-T6:
Lightweight alloy poles that are made with precision and strength, combined with flexibility and corrosion resistance.
Siliconised Flysheet:
Coating the fabric with silicon elastomer acts as a barrier to UV degradation, water absorption and soiling.
Taped Seams:
All Vango tents have taped flysheet seams sealed using a hot-air tape which bonds strongly with the PU coating on the flysheet fabric, to seal the holes produced by the sewing action of the needles during production.

Sleeping Bag Features

Advanced Trapeziodal Construction:
Box Wall Construction:
Down is contained in compartments within the sleeping bag, know as baffles, allowing it to loft. Box Wall Construction prevents the down from moving around the bag while giving it enough space to loft to its full potential. This maintains even coverage of the insulation over the users body
Cocoon:
A wider, more spacious sleeping bag design for those who require unrestricted body movement, maximum comfort and desire the best night's sleep anywhere.
Cosy Feet:
Fleece lined sleeping bag footer to give extra comfort and warmth around the foot area.
Down Insulation:
Down is the highest performing insulation and packs down to a significantly smaller size than its synthetic counterparts.
HHL® Technology:
Health Guard anti-bacterial finish – repels mosquitoes, sandflies, midgies and wasps. Health Guard anti-mosquito finish – prevents dust mites, odour, bacteria and mould residing on or in.
Insulite® Aero:
Insulite® Superfine:
A blend of spiralised, siliconised fibres, which combine to produce a filling that is highly compressible, extremely durable and lightweight.
Mosquito Net:
Off-Set Double Layer Construction:
Stitching is off set so cold spots can't form at the stitch lines
Converter Zip:
Omega Shaping:
Engineered to have the zips and seams in the bottom half of the bag. These bags offer better heat retention, with a neat, comfortable fit around the shoulders and allow differential fills to be used, giving greater warmth where needed most.
Polair® Fabrics:
Soft touch micro-polyester offers an extremely cosy and comfortable fabric which is breathable and easy to care for. Aluminised reflective interlining. Reflects radiated heat back towards the user making bag warmer. Breathable for comfort. Prevents the layers of fillings rubbing together for increased longevity of fill.
Reflective Interlining:
Single-Layer Loose-Shell Construction:
Insulation is held between the lining and shell fabrics allowing it to move with the user. No stitches are made through the insulation minimising cold spots.
Single-Layer Stitch-Through Construction:
A sleeping bag that has a single layer of insulation sewn between the shell and lining. A stitch through construction keeps the fill evenly distributed and is ideal for lightweight bags.
Thermal Embrace:
Vango's Thermal Embrace System (TES) increases the performance of our top of the range sleeping bags. Using elasticated thread in the lining, the sleeping bag hugs your body which allows you to move freely when sleeping while fitting the inner lining snugly around you. As the lining is encouraged towards you, it increases the loft between the inner and outer layers and reduces the amount of air around the body, resulting in greater insulation and more warmth.
Two-Way Autolock Zip:
To seal in warmth or facilitate ventilation.

Rucksack Features

Advanced Anatonical Adjustment:
Our Patented A3 Back System is based around it’s unique 'chassis' frame - Bi-Radial&areg; which features a single vertical bar, for longitudinal shape and strength, a top stabiliser bar, for pack stabilisation and a mid stabiliser bar, for pack shape and load distribution. This three-dimensional adjustable system efficiently transfers load weight from the pack to the base of your spine and into the stable hip area.
Self Adjust:
Based on our patented A3 Back System the Self Adjust system is built around two alloy bars which distribute weight onto the base of the spine and hip area. It's robust, highly tested and will fit nearly all back lengths.
Size Tolerant:
A simple yet robust back system construction that offers the same load carrying abilities as our adjustable rucksacks. A channel is created using raised foam which generates a chimney effect that enhances ventilation to the users back area.
Air Adjust:
Air:
Utilising state-of-art technology, the pre-formed frame is suspended via non-absorbent open mesh providing a stable platform for the back with maximum ventilation.
Air Force:
Raised foam air channels are covered with highly breathable Air Mesh resulting in a back system for medium capacity packs. The channel that is created via the raised foam generates a 'chimney' effect that enhances ventilation whilst active.
Air Mesh:
Padded foam back for comfort and breathability.
Quick Adjust:
Contoured internal alloy frame bars are coupled with a webbing ladder arrangement for back length adjustment on our Quick Adjust Back System. Load transfer to the hip-area is achieved via the alloy frame and the Quick–Step ladder system offers uncomplicated adjustment, comfort and durability.
Excel® Fabrics:
A selected Vango fabric that is used as a base in different types of rucksacks. It offers different levels of strength and durability to the rucksack.
H2O:
Hydration Pack Included:
Hydration bladder to refresh and hydrate on the move is included within the rucsac.
Rain Cover:
Keeps gear safe and dry.
Hydration Compatible:
All our top performance and activity packs, whether it’s a large expedition pack or an all activity daysac are hydration compatible. We have added an internal sleeve to take a suitably sized bladder system and “access hole” to take the drinking tube.
Short Back Length:
Available in a short back length, look out for the 'S' after the pack size.
Flight Cover:
Stowable Shoulder Straps:
Lockable Zips:
