      Adventure Travel Review

This is a nice simple headtorch from Vango. With a maximum output of 100 lumens, it has three modes: bright white, not-so-bright white and red, all controlled via one switch. The bright white light can be controlled by infra-red sensor too, so you can turn it on and off with the wave of a hand, although this is a bit over-sensitive. At just over 90g, the torch is light weight. It takes three AAA batteries (always easy to find replacements) although these don’t come included. It’s fairly comfy and the headband is grippy. The torch can be adjusted to point forwards or slightly down, although it makes a grating clicky noise when you adjust it here. Battery life is seven hours on high mode and 50 on low. A nice entry-level choice; even cheaper in the same range are the Corvus 20 (just £12) and the Corvus 85 (£17).

      Bike Magazine Review

Perfect for finding tent pegs and dropped washers on the workshop floor. Always in my tankbag, or my tool box, or on my head. This one is LED dazzling with bright, low and flashing modes.
